Mark Kelly age 63; passed away February 2, 2022.
Mark Kelly, of MPK Seniors photography, was legendary for his generosity in taking photos, videos, and portraits in his community. He donated thousands of hours of time and attention using his incredible eye for beauty to reflect the very best of people and businesses in Clarkston, MI as well as the surrounding communities. He touched many lives through the years, donating blood to the Red Cross, delivering food with Meals on Wheels, assisting with Clarkston’s RUSH Robotics, and even becoming a member of the Old Newsboys’ Goodfellow Fund of Detroit. He also contributed to Clarkston Cultural Arts taking photos of art and artists, as well as the Taste of Clarkston and other community events.
Along with his passion for photography, he also enjoyed wood working, coaching lacrosse and volleyball, and astronomy. He was an avid fan of Formula One Racing, taking photos on the course and in the pits. He also traveled to the Bonneville Salt Flats to capture amazing pictures. While Mark was an amazing photographer and loved taking pictures, nothing could compare to the love he had for his family and friends. He was sincerely engaging, genuine, and most of all fun. A good, good man, his creativity and artistry will be missed, but the love he inspired within us all will live on forever.
